Let’s give this December
If you're like me, you've been slowly squirrelling away gifts for your kids way high in your closet and scribbling in your iPhone notes of ideas for family, too. In case you're still trying to come up with ideas for friends and family this holiday season, here are a few more. I really should add my husband to this newsletter recipient list in case he needs some ideas (*hint, hint hubby). The following are what I'd love to get or give, all have a touch of fabulous design to them and in fact I already own some of these but thought they'd be fun to add in! Let me know how you get on and if you purchase any! I've also tried to keep it to small businesses when possible.
FOR: Travel Photography Aficionados
This book is full of amazing photos which started as their Instagram account. Splendidly curated images that feel very Wes Anderson (think symmetry and bold colours and fabulous vintage typography) all inside the book. And the founder is from our former neighbourhood in Brooklyn which I love!
FOR: Bake-off Wannabees
Not only do I love the fun and retro colour of this cakestand but I also love that it stores really easily if you don't have counterspace – the top unscrews from the base! Genius. And it's melamine so not totally breakable (if that's something you're worried about).
